Secret Weapon Volume 5 (the audio edition)
I thought this week I'd see what other bells and whistles Substack has available
The entirety of this week’s issue of Secret Weapon is audio. I’ll include a link to a transcript at the end.
Now because this is audio, I’m not looking to do the usual sections, so forgive me if this a little less formal than you’re looking for in a newsletter. Give this a try though:
And the transcript is available here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o034tkcn4rzg7kl/EPISODE%205%20TRANSCRIPT.txt?dl=0
I want to point out that this was a lot less stressful a production for me than trying to write sections at length without worrying about triggering Substack’s “You’re writing too much” alert. But I don’t know if that makes it easier for all of you on the receiving end.
It might that audio becomes the “when all else fails” option that I go to when the writing just isn’t going to happen on time for a Thursday deadline. But I’m going to use the usual metrics of "did this get read?” and “do people have comments?” to figure out where audio plays a role in WSW.
I hope you all have a great week, I love you, ta ta for now, we’ll talk soon.

Before I forget, there are FIVE weeks left before subscription content starts in addition to the regular weekly newsletter. The first paid content is all about marketing your book (it’s a complete campaign strategy), and I wanted to let you know what’s coming second, third, and fourth:
Second - The six types of consumers and how to sell to each of them
Third - Why nearly 75% of creatives fail to get past a second project
Fourth - Four different places to sell your work that aren’t Amazon
Okay, let’s go get more art into the world. Talk soon.
